Four wolves have been seized from a home in Sharjah, UAE and confiscated by the authorities. A specialist team went in to capture the wild animals after receiving numerous complaints from local residents. It is forbidden in Sharjah to keep dangerous predators as pets, but illegal animal trading still happens across the UAE, with big cats, including cheetahs and lions, particularly sought after as pets.
