A lion was reported to have been roaming the streets of Dubai’s Al Barsha neighbourhood on Thursday night after escaping from its owner’s home.
A few concerned residents phoned the police around 7pm after spotting the animal and an animal-welfare unit was dispatched to the scene. The lion was sedated and has been moved to Dubai Zoo where it is being looked after by veterinarians. Read more: thenational.ae
