An author has sent a lamb chop from a London restaurant into space to promote his book. The lamb chop, from the popular restaurant Tayyabs, was attached to a fork and launched on a weather balloon with a video camera. The balloon popped at 25,000m, leaving the lamb chop to land in a field in Dorset. It took six months and an appeal to the police for writer Nikesh Shukla to recover the camera and its footage which can now be seen. It shows the chargrilled meat rise from the English countryside to the upper stratosphere. Read more: telegraph.co.uk
