
A pod of around 18 orca were spotted in Raglan Harbour on the New Zealand’s North Island east coast on Tuesday. The skipper of Raglan Harbour Cruises, Ian Hardie, saw the orcas at around ten am. He said he had been taking tours out there for 30 years and has spotted orca in the area around 50 times. They left in the afternoon on the outgoing tide. Read more: stuff.co.nz
