Scandinavian royalty will travel to Oslo this weekend to mark the 25th anniversary of King Harald V's reign on Sunday 17 January.

As well as the formal celebrations attended by royals and dignitaries, a number of public events will be held to mark the Silver Jubilee, including outdoor musical entertainment, a royal procession, and winter sports activities for children in the Royal Palace grounds. The Norwegian Royal Family are well respected in the country, with around 70% of citizens saying they support the monarchy.
