The organisers of next year’s Silk Way motor rally have announced that it will run from Moscow to Beijing.
This event has been held since 2009 and each year it has a different route, but generally it goes through Russia and some Central Asian countries. This time the route will be around 10,000km long and it will cover ancient Silk Way territory. The race will start on Moscow’s Red Square in early July 2016. Read more: tass.ru
