
In January 2015 Croatia’s capital Zagreb will be getting an unusual new hostel - housed in three converted train wagons, which had been sitting idle for around five years in Zagreb’s main train station. The hostel will have a 90-bed capacity and its owner, who plans to open similar hostels in Split, Zadar, Rijeka and Pula stations, claims that it will be ideal for ‘young tourists who want to stay close to the centre and save money on comfort’.
