A new frog species has been discovered in the eastern Andes cloud forest of Peru. Scientists and park service guards in Manu National Park discovered the land frog during a routine biological survey.

It belongs to the Bryophryne genus and its features include olive green bumps and red and orange marks on its skin, but it does not have webbed feet or a visible hearing organ. Like other Bryophryne frogs, its habitat is mossy Andean cloud forest, around 11,500ft above sea level. Read more: peruviantimes.com
