Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) has just announced the opening of the Naukluft Campsite in the remote Naukluft section of the Namib-Naukluft National Park. The new facility includes ten campsites, a restaurant, a bar, a pool and other basic amenities. Activities in the vicinity include 4WD tracks, hiking trails, nature walks and birdwatching. This section of the park was created as a sanctuary for Hartmann’s mountain zebra. The new site is located 245km from Windhoek, 339km from Swakopmund and 153km from the park’s famous dunes at Sossusvlei. Read more: tourismupdate.co.za
