Sichuan Airlines is the latest carrier to offer flights between China and Nepal, a sign of growing cooperation between the two countries. From January, the airline will offer regular flights from Chengdu to Kathmandu, via Lhasa. Joint Chinese-Nepali venture Himalayan Airlines is also planning to start flights on the same route from February or March.
