Bahamian police have unveiled their newest approach to patrolling the country’s beaches: jet skis. Dubbed Operation Secure Shore, the new division uses Yamaha waverunner jet skis to monitor and prevent criminal activities occurring on the beaches on New Providence.
The initiative has also resulted in the recovery of several stolen vessels and the elimination of migrant smuggling in the waters surrounding Nassau.
