
Moscow’s metro has opened a virtual library of Russian classics. The commuters can download more than 100 books for free on the metro’s platforms. To access the electronic library, commuters with a smartphone or a tablet just need to scan a code. Free wifi will be installed on all carriages of Moscow’s metro by the end of 2014. The virtual library is currently available at 195 metro stations as a trial, before being extended across the city. Read more: theguardian.com
