Polish-born Agnieszka Santos was treated to the red-carpet treatment at the Unesco-listed Wieliczka Salt Mine, near Kraków, this week, after becoming the attraction's one-millionth visitor in 2015.

Santos, a UK resident, was given a special tour of the mine, and presented with a barrel of salt. She was in southern Poland to visit relatives. Visitors to the unique mine can follow a 3.5-km underground route showcasing featuring chapels and finely carved sculptures made entirely of salt. Read more: thenews.pl
