Steve-O, star of the stunt show Jackass, was arrested in Los Angeles on Sunday night after staging a protest against SeaWorld.

The actor, real name Stephen Glover, climbed a crane on Sunset Boulevard and inflated a blow-up whale with the words ‘Seaworld Sucks’ on it before being arrested when he came down.

Emergency services responded angrily, saying that the five ambulances, helicopter and 80 firefighters sent to the scene could have been better used elsewhere. Read more: nytimes.com
