Greece’s second city, Thessaloniki will host the first Thessaloniki-Istanbul Tango Fest on 12 and 13 December. The new festival is co-organised by dance schools from Greece and Turkey and will bring together male and female dancers from the two countries. There will be tango lessons, workshops and seminars, as well as two milonga dance parties. The organisers hope it will become an annual event, alternating between the two cities.
