Archaeologists have uncovered evidence of an entire Iron Age settlement at Skødstrup, near Aarhus in Denmark.

The team say that the find includes skeletons of dogs and at least one human, all of which had been used as sacrificial offerings to the gods. The settlement is over 2000 years old and also includes the remains of a well-preserved cobbled road. thelocal.dk
