
Vistara, the luxury airline launched by the Tata company and Singapore Airlines in India is aggressively cutting fares in response to a price war by rivals Jet Airways and Air India. Some fares have fallen by nearly 50%, but the airline has not yet gone so far as to undercut its ‘non-luxury’ rivals. Vistara currently offers flights between Delhi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad.
