‘Andrew Jackson, Born for a Storm’ is a new exhibition at the Hermitage, the seventh president’s home just outside of Nashville, Tennessee. It hopes to encourage visitors to remember the face of the $20 bill as a great war hero with a rock star personality and also to take advantage of renewed interest in the former president after the success of the biography ‘American Lion’ and the Broadway show ‘Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson’. The Hermitage was once the third most-visited presidential home, but attendance has dwindled. ‘Jackson was the next great war hero after George Washington.
