A baseball stadium in Eugene, OR, was destroyed in a fire on Monday.
The fire prompted evacuations of nearby homes. It took 38 firefighters two hours to extinguish the blaze. Though the stadium was vacant at the time and no one was injured, the structure was scheduled to undergo a renovation in July. The stadium was built in 1938 by workers from the Depression-era Works Progress Administration. Read more: reuters.com
