A man who led a non-commercial trip down the Colorado River has been fined almost $2500 for dumping trash and collecting illegal firewood. According to prosecutors, the man dropped garbage in the water every day during the 12-day trip. He was also accused of collecting driftwood, which is protected in the Grand Canyon, for firewood.
