Armchair explorers can now climb Mount Etna and see the 360-degree view from the top without leaving their houses, thanks to Google’s new Street View footage from the volcano. To celebrate the second anniversary of Etna being designated a Unesco World Heritage Site, Google sent an intrepid climber up the 3350-metre mountain with a Street View camera strapped to the top of his backpack, capturing hundreds of 360-degree pictures of the route up and the view from the top.
