Passengers on a GoAir flight to Chennai had a lucky escape after their plane collided with an aerobridge while the operator was allegedly talking on his mobile phone.

The crash punched a hole in the aircraft fuselage but no passengers were injured and the aircraft was evacuated using mobile steps and taken out of service. This is not the first time that airports in India have had near misses after breaches of health and safety protocols.
