The train departs from Victoria Station at 6.50pm on Thursday 11 May and will take a scenic round trip through the British countryside before arriving back in the capital for 11.15pm. On board, you’ll be treated to a luxury experience that’s more than your average gin and tonic. Instead, you’ll be served a seven-course seasonal tasting menu, with each dish paired with unusual gin cocktails designed to complement and enhance the flavours in your meal.
The experience is perfected by the surroundings. The meal will take place on board the Belmond British Pullman luxury train, a gorgeous vintage train that is the sister to the famous Orient Express. Each carriage is individually designed in glamorous style from the 1920s and 30s.
You will need to be a huge gin-lover to consider this; tickets to the once-in-a-lifetime experience cost £450 per person, but for some artisan gin fans, it might just be worth it.
