Travellers are driving from as far away as Brisbane in Australia to see a giant mural on disused wheat silos in the tiny town of Brim in Victoria’s Wimmera region.
Artist Guido van Helten has put the final touches on his 30-metre high portrait of four farmers in 40+ degree heat over the last few weeks. Locals say it’s the biggest thing to happen in the drought-stricken town of 100 people in a long time. Van Helten has done giant portraits before in Ukraine, Norway, Italy, Denmark and Iceland.
