Manila International Airport cancelled hundreds of flights.

Typhoon Hagupit, locally known as ‘Ruby’, made landfall in the Philippines at the weekend and has been downgraded to a tropical storm as it has crossed the country towards Manila. Hundreds of thousands of people were evacuated due to the typhoon, with 24 people reported killed in the country’s east. On Monday morning local time the Manila International Airport Authority announced more than 200 flight cancellations. Read more: abc.net.au
