Beach patrols have been stepped up in Dubai to tackle the problem of men taking photographs of sunbathing women, which is reportedly on the increase.
Dubai Police have said that many visit the beach pretending to take pictures of Dubai’s iconic buildings but really to take pictures of women sunbathing. Plain-clothed police officers and security cameras will also be used to protect the privacy of beachgoers, and those caught taking pictures without consent face penalties. Read more: thenational.ae
