
The first museum dedicated to the life and work of Green Eggs and Ham author Theodor Seuss Geisel, otherwise known as Dr. Seuss, is in the pipeline for Springfield, Massachusetts. The Amazing World of Dr. Seuss Museum is scheduled to open in 2016 and will include ‘multi-dimensional interactive’ exhibits celebrating the work of the legendary children’s book author. Geisel grew up in a two-story house in Springfield and attended the local schools. There is already a Dr. Seuss National Memorial Sculpture Garden in the town featuring figures from is famous books including the cat from The Cat in the Hat, and the Grinch.
