Exactly 60 years ago, on 17 July 1955, Disneyland opened to the public in Anaheim, California.
The park was Disney’s first, and although admission prices have gone up quite a lot since then ($1 plus additional fees for each ride in 1955, to around $100 today), its popularity shows no signs of waning.
