Temperatures in Delhi have dropped to the lowest level this year, after nine days of colder-than-average winter weather. At 4°C, Delhi is colder than London and colder than Shimla, the Himalayan hill station where Delhi residents holiday in winter for a glimpse of snow. The cold weather is contributing to heavy fog which is delaying flights and train services and causing chaos on the roads.
