For decades, Delhi has been menaced by packs of stray dogs, which roam freely throughout the city, threatening and attacking city residents.

Every year, more than 30,000 people are bitten by dogs in the city, and more than a dozen Delhi residents die each year from rabies contracted from dog bites.
