A clear sky on Wednesday morning allowed crowds to see a sight that only happens a few days a year in Switzerland.

Before rising over the mountains, the morning sun shone through "Martinsloch" (Martin's Hole) in the Tschingelhoerner mountain range and onto the church in the village of Elm, which is located in the canton of Glarus, Switzerland. The phenomenon takes place for only a couple of minutes in spring and autumn each year and draws in many observers.
