A startup from Croatia called Nearby Hostel is running a crowdfunding campaign which aims to establish the world’s first mobile hostel.
The idea is to provide hostel-style accommodation which would be transported from one festival to another. The mobile Nearby Hostel would have nine rooms and 26 beds and offer wifi and smart showers (which use 70% less water than regular ones). The team behind this campaign came up with the idea in response to high accommodation prices due to increased demand during popular events such as music festivals.
