Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos and Farc chief Rodrigo Londoño, known as Timochenko, made a joint announcement in Havana on Wednesday that the two sides have agreed on a formula for justice and reparations to victims of conflict-related crimes.

The two sides have pledged to sign a final deal by March 2016, a historic step towards ending the five decades of war in the country. Farc have committed to put down weapons within 60 days after the pact is reached. Read more: theguardian.com
