
From this Saturday Chicagoans will be able to make good use of their famously cold winters as the city opens a quarter-mile long ice skating ribbon downtown. The meandering skating track is the first attraction to open in the new $55 million Maggie Daley Park which will eventually also contain climbing walls, a field house and a three-acre play garden for kids.
