Beginning on March 15, 2016, Caribbean nationals, categorized as visa-exempt travellers, will be required to obtain an electronic travel authorization (eTA) when entering Canada by air.

The authorization will be linked to the traveller’s passport and will be valid for five years, or until the current passport expires. The application will be online and available starting on the first of August, 2015.
