An endangered ‘fishing cat’ last officially recorded in Cambodia in 2003 has been spotted again, according to conservation groups.
There had been fears about the future of the species, but images of the cat were captured on camera in national parks in Cambodia’s southwest. Both a male and female were apparently sighted. The Centre for Biodiversity Conservation is set to develop a fishing cat conservation plan. Read more: phnompenhpost.com
