The drought in California has had a major impact on many aspects of life in the state and now it’s forced one city council to cancel its Fourth of July fireworks. Cupertino, in Silicon Valley, southeast of South Francisco, made the decision after deciding that using gallons of water to dampen the ground around the fireworks display wasn’t justifiable in the current conditions.
