Cairo's cityscape gets a colourful overhaul.

An art collective in Cairo is on a mission to paint thousands of satellite dishes in an array of bold colours and patterns, in order to brighten up the city’s skyline. The Cairo Dish-Painting Initiative kicked off in Giza, and has continued through the rest of Cairo, with even the dishes on the top of the iconic Kodak building now coated in pink and yellow paint. The idea was Jason Stoneking’s, a US artist on residency with local collective Artellewa. Read more: english.alarabiya.net
