From early 2016, buskers in Moscow will have to pass a special audition in order to perform on the Moscow metro.
The authorities have already designated 15 locations on the metro (well covered by CCTV cameras) where street musicians will be allowed to play. Performances will be free and any donations only voluntary. The city’s authorities borrowed the idea from London, where only licensed buskers play in the London Underground. Read more: rbth.com
