One incredibly luxurious hotel has enchanted visitors with its opulent interiors, but travellers who can't go in person have instead made it the most followed hotel on social media.

The Burj Al Arab in Dubai has 500,000 followers on Instagram and Facebook, which is says makes it the world’s most followed hotel.

Naturally, it’s not hard to see why many people want to take a look in the all-suite hotel. The incredible price tag – rooms cost more than £1000 – may prohibit most travellers from stopping in, but their Instagram account allows a sneak peek inside.

Burj Al Arab Jumeirah is known for its signature sail-shape and is frequently called the world’s most luxurious hotel. Located on its own island, the hotel features giant aquariums, a royal suite with a private cinema, a pillow menu and much, much more.

The hotel has recently added an outdoor terrace with an infinity pool, butler-services cabanas, gold tiles and more. There are a number of high-end restaurants, including a new venture from celebrity chef Nathan Outlaw who recently opened a new restaurant with a menu focused on seafood.

Right now the hotel is posting images from guests onto its Instagram and Facebook accounts, thanking them for following the hotel.
