A bus travelling to a beach near the colonial era town of Paraty, Brazil crashed on its way to a popular beach, killing 15 passengers and injuring 30.
The notoriously dangerous stretch of winding road where the accident occurred is known locally as "God Help Me Hill", and roads in the area were particularly busy over the weekend as Monday was Brazil Independence Day. Police are still investigating the cause of the accident. Paraty, a major tourist destination in the country, lies between Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. Read more: bbc.com
