
One of the black rhinos that was moved to northern Botswana as part of the large Botswana Rhino Reintroduction Project, has successfully given birth to a healthy calf. Spotted by rhino monitoring officers while on patrol, the youngster was just a few days old and was being well protected by its mother. Wilderness Safaris, who are working with the Botswana Department of Wildlife and National Parks on the project, said the birth was a major milestone. Read more: tourismupdate.co.za
