New York Comedy Festival kicks off tomorrow with over 200 comics performing around the city.

The New York Comedy Festival opens on Wednesday with a raft of over 200 comics performing around town. Two very different styles will be headlining at the weekend: on Saturday night, Bill Cosby will be bringing his gentle humour to Carnegie Hall; whereas the night before, provocative comedian Hannibal Buress, who has openly criticised Cosby in his shows, will headline at the Town Hall. In an October show, Buress called Cosby ‘a rapist’ in reference to the 77-year-old being accused of sexually abusing women. No criminal charge have been brought against Cosby. Read more: nytimes.com
