On Thursday the Great American Beer Festival kicked off at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver.
Over 700 American breweries are attending the event, bringing along kegs, bottles and barrels of more than 3000 beers. With an expected attendance of 60,000 people, the event is the US’s largest boozy celebration. The festival increased event space by 90,000 square feet to accommodate the crowds. Tickets are, unfortunately, sold out – they went on sale in July and sold out in just two hours. This year’s event holds beer-ducational ‘Sit and Sip’ sessions as well as a ‘Meet the Brewer’ booth where guests can talk to brewmasters and industry dignitaries. Read more: denverpost.com
