A Liverpool ferry will be transformed into a ‘dazzle ship’ by Sir Peter Blake, the man who created the cover of the Beatles’ album Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band. The bright geometric designs celebrate the pioneering camouflage used by British vessels in WW1, which made it harder to for enemy ships to estimate the their range and speed. The repainted ferry has been commissioned by Tate Liverpool and the Liverpool Biennnial art festival. Read more: bbc.co.uk
