After some playful social media sparring between Qantas and Air New Zealand, Qantas crew are wore All Blacks jerseys on Monday when New Zealand won the Rugby World Cup at Twickenham.
In an exchange between the rival airlines in the lead-up to the final last week Air New Zealand tweeted an image of a Qantas plane painted black. Qantas responded with an image of an Air New Zealand plane in gold saying they thought they may need the golden touch. Rather then a paint job, it was agreed in the end that they’d wear the rival team’s uniform. Air New Zealand thanked Qantas on Monday for being "good sports". Read more: bbc.co.uk
