The Via Egnatia, part of the important ancient road built by the Romans in the 2nd century BC and used to link the Roman Empire with Constantinople via the Balkans, is set to become Albania’s new tourist attraction.
The first tour along the Via Egnatia will take place from 18 to 31 August, organised by Albania’s National Coastline Agency and the University of Venice. The project is part of Albania’s plans to develop a tourist offer that will include elements of historic, religious and culinary tourism. Read more: invest-in-albania.org
