American Airlines has said that it will no longer accept payment for flights in the form of Argentine pesos.
Officials from the airline revealed in a statement, ‘We currently do not have inventory available for purchase in Argentine pesos due to repatriation issues’. Which translates in layman's terms to: American Airlines is having difficulties converting the currency to dollars. Flights can still be purchased from American Airlines via foreign credit cards.
