Are you free this summer and fancy a job testing hot tubs?

A company in the UK is looking for someone to work as an official hot tub tester over the coming months, which sounds to us like one of the best summer jobs imaginable. The tester, or hot tubologist as Lay-Z-Spa is calling it, will review its hot tubs and will take over its social channels documenting their experiences. This, we’re sure you’d agree, has got to be a dream scenario on the employment front.

The job comes with a free Lay-Z-Spa Miami inflatable hot tub, a cheque for £500 ($664) and a prize package of accessories. The person chosen will be invited to test the company’s latest range of hot tubs at their home with their family or friends, so they can literally lie back, look at the stars and call it work, which seems to us to be pretty jammy. As the company’s brand ambassador, the lucky applicant will become the star of its social media accounts this summer, and will presumably enjoy an instant boost of popularity among their mates.

As the hot tub range includes tubs that can fit eight people, we imagine the winner will have the times of their lives this summer partying with family and friends. Participants can enter the application process on Facebook by posting a 30-second video to the official Lay-Z-Spa Facebook page or Instagram explaining why they should get the job. Entry to the competition is open only to UK residents aged 18 years or over and entries close at midnight on 10 June.

Further information on the ultimate summer job can be found on the Lay-Z Spa website here. If you end up being chosen as the successful candidate, make sure to invite us over to help you do your job.
