A luxurious Mexican resort is offering guests a number of special touches, including a personal margarita station complete with butler. Esperanza, Auberge Resorts Collection in Cabo San Lucas, offers this service to guests who book a private cabana by the infinity pool or at the beach.
The cabanas are set back from the water’s edge and offer stunning views of the Sea of Cortez. They offer guests a number of complimentary amenities, including fully stocked coolers, frozen treats, fruit, soft drinks, traditional Mexican style snacks and a pool butler who will clean their sunglasses. The cabanas also have a plug for electronics, fresh towels, board games, magazines and a button for immediate service.
The butler at the personal margarita station offers a curated tutorial on creating the perfect cocktail, and each one is trained by the resort’s master tequila-maker, Christian, before taking on the role. The margaritas are mixed using seasonal fruit juices and Casamigos blue agave tequila from Jalisco.
You can request to try different flavoured margaritas, but if you don’t see one you like, the butler will accommodate any seasonal requests, including making the margarita with rarer fruits. Cabanas at Esperanza costs $140 (€120) per day and include six margaritas, or you can request the demonstration, including two fresh margaritas mixed in front of you, for $32 (€27.4).
